  • Day 2: Bringing Positionality into Teaching & Learning

    • Start discussions: 1 Post replies: 1

In this forum, we invite you to reflect and share your insights on two key questions:

      (1)  How does your positionality influence your teaching practices? This includes everything, from designing your course curriculum, delivering content, to assessing students' learning.

      (2) Could you please share specific activities or exercises you have implemented or plan to implement in their classrooms to integrate the concept of positionality?  These could range from discussion prompts to interactive projects or any other ideas you’ve found effective in bringing the concept of positionality to daily classroom practice.

Please post your reflection and comment on at least one of others' posts.

    • Choose one of those resources to delve into the discussion of how to enact this practice into our daily work, esp. teaching practice

  • Day 3: Crafting your Positionality Statement

  • Day 4: Sharing your Positionality Statement

In this activity, you will engage in small group Forum: Co-Reflection and Celebration, where each participant will share their positionality statement and provide feedback to others. Please consider this as an opportunity to engage in self-reflection and gain insights from the diverse experiences and perspectives of your peers.

Please note, in this forum, you'll only see posts and comments from members of your specific group. This small group forum is designed to foster a more comfortable learning environment for presenting positionality statements and offering feedback as gifts.

Please read the forum instruction carefully. And thanks for your participation and contributing to this enriching exchange of perspectives.
