I was turned off by the option of just Facebook or Twitter log-ins because it bespoke a strategy of push ads via my account.
That being said, in general, I find applications that use self-assessment to build predictions/recommendations to be limited to a large degree by the respondent's self-awareness (and, of course, the level of nuances permitted/detected in responses). No brainer, I know, but just as true as ever.

Hello to at least the fourth MA person in this course!
I agree that the wonderful resource materials have already made this course worthwhile.
As to not enough snow, there's a blizzard gift-wrapped for delivery to your doorstep tomorrow night. :)

Wow, Eri, I love what you put as your interests! Taking knowledge the next step past discussions/forums/seminars and adapting it for further use is a big interest of mine as well (how to do it effectively and efficiently).
I'll check out your blog and see if my primitive Portuguese will allow me to follow along.

Hey AK! I used to work at UMass, was even a student there for a semester too.
Hi everyone:
I work at an international health nonprofit, Management Sciences for Health: http://www.msh.org/. I oversee knowledge management and learning for one of our technical centers, and, as such, have an abiding interest in LAK.
I am excited to see the international participation and look forward to learning a lot from everyone.
