Hi everyone,

I’ve been curious about the intersection of technology and home design. Recently, I came across apps that let you visualize changes before making them, which seems both fun and practical.

How accurate are these tools in representing real-life materials, lighting, and space? I’m especially interested in virtual interior design, how it can help plan layouts, experiment with colors, or even share ideas with clients or friends.

Has anyone here used virtual interior design platforms extensively, and what features do you find most helpful or limiting in your experience?

Hey Jack, I’ve been experimenting with virtual tools for planning other projects and stumbled upon https://quantum-ca.net/ Quantum Trading, which surprisingly helped me think about structured planning in a different way here in Canada. I started by testing some of their simulation features, and it gave me a clearer sense of sequencing and timing—kind of like visualizing a layout before moving furniture. Even though it’s designed for trading, the approach to testing scenarios and seeing outcomes beforehand made me rethink how I approach my home design experiments.
