Meet the web publishing family
In this course, we will explore three very different platforms, each with its own publishing methods. They are actually quite unique in the way they have been designed and what they are intended to do. Each of them is what I would call a powerhouse of web publishing, able to accomplish much more than simply publishing media to the web.
These tools are a family of sorts because they are all related but quite different from one another. Some of them seem simple and straightforward at first, but once you begin working with them, the layers of complexity become evident. They can also be extremely frustrating if you need help understanding how they work or try to get them to do something they cannot! ( I can really take a metaphor and run with it !🤣)
I have put together some “quickstart” guides for each to help your review and some instructions to get started. Consider the level of difficulty you are willing to take on and try to match your requirements with the appropriate set of features.
Here is a visual that indicates the level of difficulty.

I have set aside the rest of today, to focus on WordPress, but you can explore freely any or all of the platforms, and take them for a test drive.
