This document outlines some course guidelines for learners and educators. Some examples include mutual respect to help create a safer learning environment. Other guidelines are suggestions to help get the most out of this learning experience.

MUTUAL RESPECT 

  • Appreciate differences in perspective. They are ok and potentially valuable.
  • Address others as they wish to be addressed (names, pronouns etc.)
  • Assume everyone is doing the best with what they have. 

COMMITTMENT TO LEARNING 

  • Ask questions and for what you need.
  • Participate to the best of your ability.
  • Share the space. 
  • Take care of yourself and access supports as needed.

CONFIDENTIALITY

  • Share the learning but not the names.
