Pfew! We are almost done with this whirlwind tour! Your last post is REQUIRED to obtain the Digital Badge for this course. To obtain the badge, you must

Post
On Day 1, you went on a tour and experienced as learners AODs that varied in their goals, prompts, formats (text, sticky notes, whiteboards, pictures, videos, audio, etc.), and platforms. What are some of your take aways as educators? This can be an insight about how the AOD was set-up, about the experience of engaging in a particular discussion, or perhaps something that someone shared that gave you food for thought. Identify 1-3 insights from your participation in today's activities.

Read through at least five of your colleagues' insights. Choose two that you will respond to. Your reply should address one of the insights that a colleague mentioned and provide concrete, practical advice for implementing that insight in a classroom.
Here are two examples:
- Someone's insight is that video posts added in a LMS's threaded discussions are more challenging to browse than text-based posts. Your reply is that perhaps a way to benefit from the video format while mitigating the drawback would be to ask students to add a bullet point summary of the points they make in their video as part of their post. This would allow other students to quickly browse whether a post is likely to appeal to them before they commit to viewing the video.
- Someone mentions that a resource shared in the SPLOT by a colleague was an important take away. They describe it as the resource where a table shows Bloom's taxonomy and the verbs that a prompt can use to align with each level of Bloom's taxonomy. Your reply suggests how you may use that to scaffold three successive AODs on the same concept: the first to check for student understanding, the second to encourage students to apply the concept in their environment, and the last one gets students to evaluate the concept.
