Awww, we missed the deadline for submitting a paper! :-)
Yes, I grew up in Indianapolis a long time ago -- pre Colts, pre Pacers, etc. The last time I was there, I could hardly find my way around!
But if you're ever there and in the downtown area there are two places to eat you can't miss (if you're a carnivore).
Shapiro's Deli -- Kosher everything and wonderful.
St. Elmo's Steakhouse -- old school steakhouse - elegant but not the least bit stuffy.

Thanks, Paul. Yes, this is a great example, and one some of my students recently pointed out to me. I'll see if I can persuade them to reply and share their thoughts on what we could learn/employ from the VMC site.
I especially like the notion of edtech pedagogies as a lens for viewing history. I think I can remember living through several myself, including the programmed instruction emphasis, the Open Space Classroom emphasis (absolutely crushing for anything projected), the kill and drill software emphasis, the WebQuest emphasis -- this could be fun.
And Murray Goldberg. Of course!
