You made it! You have successfully designed and developed an alternative assessment for your class where learners will be invited to use GenAI as part of the assignment.
In the space below, celebrate your achievement by sharing what you have created. Even if you have not yet completed your assessment design, share what you have thus far. In your post, consider providing the following information:
- BACKGROUND. Provide a bit of background about your context (discipline and level of the course you teach) so that others can orient themselves to your course.
- ASSESSMENT DESCRIPTION. Supply the student instructions for the assignment you created. Consider adding links to (or upload) resources that you developed to support students in this assignment (e.g., the rubric).
- ASK ONE QUESTION. Solicit feedback from your colleagues on a specific aspect of the assessment. Consider aspects of the work that you are unsure about, or that you are still working on. This can be a question about the work itself, or a request to provide links to resources that could be suitable.
Everyone should submit their original post by end of day on Thursday.
That way on Friday, you can peruse the list of assessments produced by your colleagues, gain inspirations for future assessments you design, or ideas to improve the one you just created. Respond to the request of at least one person in the course.
