Hello everyone,
I’ve been working on fostering more interactive discussions in the online courses I facilitate, but I often find that students are hesitant to engage deeply or consistently. While some participate actively, others seem to limit their responses to short, surface-level replies or simply agree with others without adding new insights. hill climb racing
I’ve tried a few strategies, like posting open-ended questions and providing examples to spark discussion, but the results have been mixed. I want to ensure everyone feels comfortable contributing and that the forum becomes a space for meaningful dialogue.
Does anyone have tried-and-tested methods to encourage more thoughtful and frequent peer engagement in online discussion forums? Specifically, how do you handle students who are reluctant to participate or those who dominate the conversation?
Any advice or examples of what has worked for you would be greatly appreciated!
Thank you in advance for sharing your insights! 😊
Best regards,
