Hi All, I'm posting message here in case you missed it in the email communication. L

Dear ETUG Fall 2013 Workshop Participants,

Just a few days until we meet at Royal Roads University, for our Fall workshop, “Royal Crossroads: Avenues for Quality”. Here are some key things to help you get ready:

Join us in SCoPE

We are launching an ETUG community space in SCoPE to help your connect with other participants.  Please use this space to organize carpooling, arrange meeting up, share your workshop session info, notes and insights, etc.Read more about it

Pub night

Continuing in what has now become a tradition to hold an ETUG pub night the evening before our event (Thursday Nov.14th from 5:30 pm on). This year we’re meeting at the Six Mile Pub. They say it is BC’s oldest pub. Will be fun so hope to see you there!

Getting to RRU

Royal Roads University, 2005 Sooke Road   Here’s a road map.

Parking lots P7, P9, P10 are where you can park and the Quarterdeck is located as #24 on the map: http://www.royalroads.ca/sites/default/files/rru_campus_map.pdf

Registration

Registration will be setup in the Quarterdeck on Friday morning starting at 7:30 am. A hot breakfast will welcome you so come earlier and get in some quality networking with fellow ETUGgers. Opening remarks will start at 9:00 AM.

The program is a single stream and we expect approximately 100 participants. See the lineup of great sessions!

Internet Connectivity

 Housekeeping Notes:

We will be live audio streaming and video/audio recording of selected sessions at the ETUG workshop. As well, lots of photos, video and audio will be taken at the workshop which will be shared on our web sites under a Creative Commons license.

We encourage you to bring your own water bottle, a laptop computer, tablet or mobile device if you like.  We plan to have some tables setup where you can plug in and power up.
