I like working with communities and provider networks to explore and use social media technologies to develop a virtual presence and open conversations for prevention. It is fun and exciting to bring people together online in new or different ways -- to connect, network, share, communicate and collaborate -- ultimately using social media to build social capital and improve local conditions.Right now I'm focused on ways to establish, weave, develop and produce web-based interactive learning sessions, virtual conferences, and online communities of practice.
I spent 15 years with the Southwest Prevention Center and CSAP’s Southwest CAPT. While there I completed a bachelor’s degree in Liberal Studies, a master’s degree in Human Relations from the University of Oklahoma as well as certification as a Prevention Specialist and Distance Learning Administrator/Instructor.
My favorite saying, It's all good.
