Organization and Coordination Models and Recommendations

Canadians love to debate types of organizational structure most appropriate to accommodate common goals. In this section we outline the need for both a large pan Canadian strategy that allows for both small and large research projects and networks to emerge and thrive.

Gilbert's model of networks centres may be of interest here. The inclusion of diverse approaches is important...but a good portion of this effort should fit into a decentralized models so that individual regions have the ability to customize their focus.
