“It is critical that we really honor practice…that we accord ourselves the serious attention that we accord theory. Too often we do not take the time to stop and think about what we are doing…too often we let the daily press of our work dictate what it is we do…and therefore what it appears that we stand for” (Knefelkamp et al., 1984, p. 4).

Congratulations! You have made it to the final step in the PTP Review process!  In Step 1 your experience served to provide you with examples from your current practice for your review. In Part 2 we provided select theories, models, and lenses relevant to WIL learning to help you reflect on your current practice with new eyes. Through that process you may have thought about new things you would like to try or changes you might test out based upon your now more "theory informed reflections."

This brings us to Part 3, the testing of those ideas back in your practice. You may want to try this on a small scale at first or beta test it with practitioners for early feedback. Be sure to include opportunities to gather feedback from your WIL stakeholders regarding how the changes you tried impacted outcomes and see if the goals you identified in Part 1 for this part of your practice were met.
