About This Course
Listen to a facilitator read this page:
This course, like all Facilitating Learning Online (FLO) MicroCourses, is a five-day course on a single topic. The topic of this course is Designing with Liberating Structures. It is being facilitated by Leva Lee and Beth Cougler Blom.
In this course you will:
- Learn what Liberating Structures are and why they can be so powerful for online and face-to-face meetings and learning events,
- Design a group activity using a Liberating Structure,
- Experience a few key Liberating Structures online, and
- Share ideas and advice on the application of Liberating Structures in your own context
Expect to spend at least 5 hours for course activities during the week. There are suggested activities to do each day between Monday and Friday. You might need to invest more time if you're unfamiliar with Moodle or have no prior teaching and learning
experience. We invite your active participation to make this course successful for us all. Don't hesitate to reach out directly to either of the facilitators if you should need any assistance or are having troubles navigating around the site. We are
happy to help!
