Here's the situation: It's good practice to post a weekly bulletin (say, on Sunday, in preparation for the week ahead). It's kind of a "rally the troops" move, where you

  • remind people where we are in the process: what's happening this week (who's facilitating what topic), what the key deadlines are, and sometimes a reminder about a long weekend or other event that might impact the flow of the course.

  • draw specific attention to things that went well (did someone share a great resource? move a discussion forward in a skilful way? - point it out and give credit).

Your co-facilitator is on deck to post the message for the upcoming week (week 3), and s/he emails you on Saturday to see if you have any feedback on the post s/he is going to make the following day. Below is the message s/he intends to post.

HELLO EVERYONE!!!!!!!!!

A special thanks to the Week 2 facilitators for their hard work and getting us off to a strong start!!!

To close out week 2, you should have now (or SOON!): finished any final work/postings as a participant in the Course Review Task force and Wiki activities, provided feedback to the folks who facilitated this week (to get there, go to the forum for giving feedback and click on the link that was posted for the thread for those facilitators), completed your FLIF if you facilitated this week (to get there, go to, and posted your Weekly Journal Share nuggets for this past week (to get there, go to the Weekly Journal Share forum, and reply to the thread that has been created for the purpose of giving feedback to the specific facilitators for this week)

Looking ahead to Week 3, we are excited about “Duelling Tools” . Looking forward to seeing what those guys have cooked up for us!

GREAT WORK, everyone!

Now, please go the the forum for this case, and respond to the questions there.
