Informal "Tech Time" in Blackboard Collaborate; to explore the platform and get your questions answered

Attend Live Synchronous Processes Session in Blackboard Collaborate Room 1 (1 hour)

Engage in the following activities:

  • Review videos for the Sample Synchros activity and post by Wednesday about your examples
  • Participate in the Week 2 Discussion Forum, posting and responding to posts
Mon - Sun For Practicing Facilitators: Reach out in the Week 2 Discussion Forum if you have questions for course facilitators or your course colleagues. Book any practice sessions and then advertise the time of your facilitation session in the Booking Calendar (in the Hub) so that course colleagues/facilitators can try to attend.
Thurs, Time TBD Informal "Tech Time" in Blackboard Collaborate; to explore the platform and get your questions answered
By Sun For Reviewing Participants: Give feedback to your course colleagues who are "Practicing Facilitators" as they post questions in the Week 2 Discussion Forum. Note times in your schedule that you can attend facilitation sessions for your colleagues.

Engage in the following activities

  • Read Week 3 Overview
  • Read Following Up After Synchronous Sessions notes in Week 3
  • Answer the poll in Week 3

Participate in the Week 3 Discussion Forum (see prompts in forum), posting and responding to posts

For Practicing Facilitators: Facilitate your synchronous session and reflect on it as per the directions in the Course Overview. Attend at least one other session.

For Reviewing Participants: Attend at least two synchronous sessions facilitated by Practicing Facilitators.
By Thurs am For Practicing Facilitators, post in the Week 3 Discussion forum about your facilitation session, using the 3-2-1 structure as per the directions in the Course Overview 
Fri, Time TBD Attend Live Synchronous Wrap-Up Session in Blackboard Collaborate Room 1 (45 min)
By Sun For Reviewing Participants, give feedback to the facilitator(s) for the sessions that you attend, based on their post in the Week 3 discussion forum
