Hi my name is Kathleen Omollo. I have been involved in OER activities with Open.Michigan at the University of Michigan for the last 3 years. I've been involved in many aspects of OER, including copyright clearance and OER production (such as dScribe), publishing platform research (we currently run Drupal) training and advocacy workshops, evaluation efforts, and more. I am currently the U-M Project Manager for the African Health OER Network.
This will be the second purely online open course that I've taken. (I was part of a Copyright for Educators course for P2PU in 2009.) We're starting to increase our evaluation activities for U-M and the Network, so I'm interested in learning more about quantitative and qualitative methods, esp. in education.
