By following the discourse related to e-learning and learning in networks for the first four years, I have developed knowledge and expertise related to learning with new technologies. The series of open courses created by David Wiley, Dave Cormier, George Siemens, Stephen Downes, Helene Fournier, Sylvia and the active engagement of participants provides a rich, interdisciplinary context for making new connections and for generating innovative perspectives on learning.
I will feel successful if I have a better understanding of data analysis and learning analytics, statistics and data analysis. A positive outcome might be to identify technologies that learners can use to inform their personal learning profile and decision making.
