Hi there!
I'm the manager of the Learning Research group in the Learning Resources department at Adobe Systems, Inc. I'm looking to learn more about how folks understand what people are learning (we mostly measure doing -- not quite the same thing).
This course will be a success for me if I come away with two or three new ideas we can try out. I'm very much looking forward to engaging with a community of folks who are curious about the same things.
Prior to joining Adobe four years ago, I was at the University of Chicago working on technology for adults in the school system, in what was then the Center for Urban School Improvement. And prior to that I did my doctorate in Learning Sciences at Northwestern University. I have a very strong interest in motivation and learning.
