Hi All,

I live in a solar powered log cabin that my husband and I built 25km out of Coonabarabran, a small town of 4000, in NSW Australia.

Our house is situated in 100 acres (40 hectares) of Aussie bush. Yep kangaroos eat my garden, we have possums, emus the occassional siting of a koala and a huge variety of birdlife. :-)

I facilitate online courses (currently working with indigenous students learning the almost lost Gamilaraay languge) and encourage other teachers to engage in web 2.0 technology and other online courses. Perhaps for me the Connectivism course will be better but I am curious to see how people learn online and how I will cope with this open learning.

My participation will be a success if I pick up some different tools and strategies to enhance our online teaching and learning. :-) And if I can blog my thoughts on this open learning process.... ready for the learning curve! (i think!

Cheers & CYU online
