Hi,

I work as an e-Learning Advisor for Higher Education as part of the UK national network of Regional Support Centres funded through JISC Advance.

Whilst my main role is to provide guidance to "Support and stimulate innovation in learning" I spend a lot of my free time tinkering with social media and other web apps creating educational mashups like the Twitter Subtitling app iTitle http://bit.ly/azL2qu.

For me this course is great opportunity to combine these two areas and for once glue what I do during the day with what I get up to at night. Being a practical kind of a guy one of the things I would like to do as part of this course is make something, don't know what yet though ;)

If you would like to see more of what I do I blog here http://www.rsc-ne-scotland.org.uk/mashe/ and tweet via http://twitter.com/mhawksey

[And if you want to see hoe Google sees me, my Social Graph Connections are here http://bit.ly/fszgXY ;)]

Hi,

I'm following you on twitter.. man that still sounds stalkerish lol

The Google social graph api looks kinda cool. Thanks, had forgotten about it until I read your intro.

Hope to run into you during this course,

jamie
