[SCoPE] LAK11: Hello from Toronto, Canada

Hello from (barely) snowy Toronto, Canada.

I've been interested in the convergence of learning and data/content/knowledge/information/technology for my entire career. I have a masters degree in library an information science, but through chance/intention have spent the last 15 years in leadership roles in corporate learning and development, revelling in the unexpected overlaps and parallels between the two disciplines.

I'm currently completing the Athabasca University master of distance education program while working full-time leading a learning and development department in a commercial real estate and property management company.

I'm as interested in the MOOC format of this course as I am in the course topic and look forward to learning from you, my colleagues around the world!

great to see you here.

There are four UofT PhD students in this course, as well as some other Torontonians, it would be great to organize a meetup at some point!
