A fairly wet little community called Struck Oil in Queensland, Australia. Fairly close to Rockhampton, a currently mostly underwater regional town http://bit.ly/exgBog
Why are you interested in this course?
My long-term interest is how technology can be effectively and appropriately used to improve learning and teaching. Have dabbled a little in analytics related work (http://indicatorsproject.wordpress.com) but need to learn more.
What has to happen in order for you to consider this course a success?
If, through regular participation in the course tasks I can expand my own knowledge networks and perhaps contribute something to those of others.

I'm an ex-information systems academic, ex university e-learning/innovation person returning to university this year to complete a graduate diploma in learning and teaching, perhaps to become a high school teacher.
