Hello. My name is Bryan Krusniak and I am responsible for ITS at A.T. Still University. We are a relatively small (~3,500 students) school focusing only on graduate level health care professions. In addition to being the founding place of Osteopathic Medicine, we now have a dental school, 2 medical schools, a wide variety of allied health programs, and an online school dedicated to health management.
As a technology guy, I don't feel that I know enough about assessment. However, I have recently been appointed to our University Wide Assessment Committee. Thus, I am trying to get myself up to speed on how to combine new technologies with measurement techniques that can help quantify changes in learning and knowledge.
My history of participation in open education courses is a bit suspect as daily life can become overwhelming, but 2011 is a new year with new goals and I'm excited about this topic. I look forward to learning with the group.
