Hello, I'm Mercè Galán from Spain. My English is regular but I hope it will not be an impediment to follow the course. I apologize if the sentences are not well expressed. I studied Fine Arts specializing in audiovisual technology. I am also a professor of art and technology.
As colleagues have mentioned earlier, I also love technology and I'm interested in everything related to communities, sharing, participating, learning, etc..
Some years ago a friend and I created the art platform www.submergentes.org and last year we went from classroom teaching to impart www.media-lab.es/info found on the web.
We use free software SPIP, Joomla, Dokeos and others.
My involvement in the course may be several hours a day and to translate the texts I will take some time. Perhaps most difficult is to understand Elluminate session but I'll be there to see what saucepan.
Try to participate as possible and that language is not a deterrent.
I take this opportunity to thank the organizers for this opportunity so fascinating to learn and experiment with these tools so powerful.
