Hi Janet and everyone,
My name is Genevieve and I'm currently living in Paris, France but am originally from Vancouver, Canada. I'm a contract-based curriculum developer on political and social justice issues for colleges and non-profit training institutes. I work in educational development & project coordination on public health (HIV prevention, child welfare, etc.), intercultural relations, ways of learning and leadership. I'm currently contemplating my PhD topic on therapeutic approaches through creative online education (and doing it in French - my second but broken language, yikes!). My background is Canadian First Nations and Estonian and so I'm also interested in how online learning can meet the needs of marginalized communities, particularly through the use of creative expression.
I'm looking forward to these sessions!
p.s. In France when I say I'm a curriculum writer people think I write resumes for a living! ;)
