#1: Brainstorm Chat -- Group: Information Design
Activity 1: Chat/Brainstorm
Instructions:
- Use this chat room to brainstorm guiding principles for designing online learning activities from your area of focus: Information Design (this is supposed to link to glossary grrrr!)
- Consider how you would achieve what you want to do using Moodle.
- When you have decided on 2 - 3 principles, copy them to the Guiding Principles html page in your Group's area.
- You have 20 minutes to complete this activity and record your ideas on the designated html page in your group's area
Roles
- Contributors - everyone first contributes ideas in a fast and furious fashion to the brainstorming session. Remember: all ideas valued, don't stop to critique. The goal is to generate as much as possible.
- Timekeeper - one person in your group manages the time and moves the group from brainstorming to the next step: sifting and sorting ideas to decide on your best two principles
- Recorder - once the group sifts and picks two principles, the recorder will move (copy/paste) your principles from the chat onto the Guiding Principles html page in your group's area.
- Moodle Mentor - The Moodle mentor will assist the Recorder and provide advice on how Moodle can be used to achieve the guiding principles generated by the group.
