Overview
In this final unit, we'll be looking back and looking forward, revisiting key topics and themes with some experience behind us, and a mind to the future and applying what we've learned.
This includes:
considering the assessment of online participation and the role of rubrics
engaging in reflective practice - what that looks like, what tools we might use to be reflective practitioners
re-visiting some key themes of the course from our (now) more informed and experienced perspective: facilitation strategies, online presence, and online participation
Week 5 Activities
Welcome to the final week of ISWo!
Congratulations for digging in and flexing your developing facilitation muscles and exploring different ideas around how to learn effectively in an online environment.
There are two activities this week:
1. Assessing Participation, a mini-session facilitated by Team 4
2. Looking Back, Looking Forward, a reflective activity facilitated by your ISWo facilitators (Details are in the forum.)
Please, try to finish Looking Back/Looking Forward before the end of the day, Friday. But, if you need more time you can finish it over the weekend or early next week. Also, please complete the end-of-course Participant Feedback Survey while the ISWO experience is fresh in your minds.
