Facilitating Learning Online - Design
This foundation workshop will help you enhance skills needed to confidently and effectively design online learning environments and activities.
You will:
- explore learning theories, instructional design approaches, related frameworks, models and quality standards;
- design a short unit of online learning (2-3 weeks ) and prototype activity;
- discuss design choices with peers in a studio-based learning environment; and
- share a final plan, learning unit design, and engage others in a "walk-through" of a prototype learning experience.
