Rapid Course Design Conversation

Lead: Karen Harker, Director Educational Enhancement Team, Lethbridge College

When: Tuesday, November 2, 14:30 - 16:00 (Mountain), 20:30 GMT

More and better online courses? More learning objects? How can we support all these requests? How can we be more efficient? How can we produce more but still ensure quality? These are the questions we are asking as the demand for development of online courses and course materials is increasing.

Join us for a discussion on rapid instructional design, and more specifically, how we can design and develop online courses faster while still ensuring quality.

Questions to consider prior to the presentation:
  • What instructional design strategies are you using to help you speed up the process of designing and developing more - quality - learning materials?
  • What advantages and disadvantages have you experienced, or do you think you might experience, as a result of rapid instructional design?

All sessions this year are designed for dialogue, conversation and sharing. Please bring your own ideas, suggestions, and contributions on scheduled topics.
