While I agree with you that this may help, how does the system deal with people who play it to their advantage?

Definitely... all these acronyms without previous full explanation are difficult to guess if you are not initiated. Take for instance Philip Goldstein's Academic Analytics 2005 paper:
ECAR
ERT
EPL

Maybe the glossary function could be used.

Thank you for the tip, Cris. However, that would involve Elluminate sessions only, right? The only pb I see is that as the sessions are widely advertised, there may be people who are not in the course and just pop in to watch a presentation.

It would be interesting to know whether this could be done more quickly. It is terribly annoying and time-consuming to try to list the 226 enrolled members into their different countries.
