Thank you Asif and Ross for a great course! I learned tons from everyone! I am glad that we will have access to the contents of this course even once it's completed.
You ask about how it would have been if we took the other role. Before reading your question I was thinking that I now wanted to take the course again being a facilitator so I can practice the skills learnt. Being a new at online facilitation I felt that being a reviewer really allowed me to get a sense to what synchronous sessions are like, what tools are available, how to adapt skills from F2F learning to online learning. The synchronous sessions led by this group served as great models for me, it allowed me to observe and pick what I liked and would use in my own sessions. Now that I have experienced a number of sessions, I feel that I want to apply what I learnt. If I was being a facilitator in this course I don't think my session would have been as great as some of the sessions that I experienced because I felt I still didn't have a good knowledge base when it came to applying technology tools, interactive tools, engaging learners in an online session, and I realize that that there were many tips that were new to me. Now, that I've experienced the course as a reviewer I feel that I have more confidence to be a facilitator.
Thank you for your time!
Kindly,
Mariana
