One morning, we went scuba diving about a hundred meters down along a beautiful, vibrant coral wall. The dive master took us to the bottom of the wall to a narrow opening. He motioned for us to go in one at a time. I wasn't sure about this plan when, as I was about half way through the narrow opening, my air tank started bumping against the coral. I thought, "I'm going to get stuck here, and then what?!" I carefully dove a bit lower and slowly made my way through the dark tunnel.
Just as I emerged from the pitch-black, tight entrance, I was overtaken by the shimmering rays of sunshine beaming down and dancing through the water. Here I was inside a spacious bowl of coral and fish in a multitude of neon colors and imaginative designs! I felt that I had entered the infamous 'Garden of Eden' and had the privilege and honor of seeing creation in it's finest form! I literally gasped underwater (Never even knew that was possible!)
My training and time in the frigid, murky waters of Canada made this experience all that much more amazing and meaningful! What a fabulous gift!
